My parking lot/garage is gated, can I still use Rover?

Yes.

How does it work?

We install a small piece of hardware that acts as a switch to activate your gate opener. A customer opens the app, selects an open spot from your building and books it using their credit card. You will be notified of the transaction. It will include details of the driver, vehicle, duration of stay and a receipt.

The customer is able to enter and exit the building using the app. The gate can only be accessed when the spot is booked. Fobs are not required! You can monitor and track all the vehicles and drivers in your building through our mobile app and website. You also have full control over the schedule, availability and price of all your spots, and can adjust in real-time whenever you’d like. Add, drop, turn off or adjust your spots at any time.

Who are the users?

Rover parkers are all verified, insured and tracked. You’ll always know exactly who is in your building and can monitor in real-time using the app or website.

How much does it cost?

Listing is 100% free. And we don’t succeed unless you do. Our commission is 25%, but only on confirmed bookings. There is no cost to instal our hardware, market your spots or use our platform. Furthermore, we don’t charge any subscription fees and we don’t require any term commitments. You’re free to add or drop any amount of spots at any time.

How much will we get paid?

Your earnings will depend on three things: number of spots, availability schedule and area demand. A building with 40 spots available during business hours in a high-demand area can earn over $10,000/month after commissions!

How quickly can I begin earning?

In one week or less. Hardware installation is painless. We’ll schedule a technician and coordinate with your building’s supervisor - typically the install takes 1 hour. We will not disrupt the gate/garage functioning during the install. After that, we can have your account up and running in 2-3 days. We’ll have an associate take professional photos and install signs free of charge. All you need to do is connect a bank account and you can begin collecting earnings on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis (your choice).

We use fobs at our building, can we still still use Rover?

Yes! Our system is better and easier than using fobs. With Rover, all we need to do is a quick hardware install, and your door/gate can be opened from within the app.

How much can I charge for my spots?

It’s up to you, but we’ll recommend a price based on demand and other commercial options nearby. We generally recommend starting at about 20% below nearby commercial options. This helps to drive demand as your occupancy ramps up.

What happens if there’s an issue with a user parking?

We have 24/7 support that can be accessed from our app, website or by contacting your account manager via phone, text or email at any time. We handle all requests immediately.

Can I adjust my price, schedule or number of spots?

Yes, you have full control, and can adjust any or all of your spots on the fly at any time.
